ABILITY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Each of us has the ability to make a difference in the
lives of others around us. We choose to energize
the people we are in contact with or we choose to
deplete people of their energy. Think about a time
when you felt fantastic, energized in another's
company. Think about the opposite. Those people
who consciously are aware of their positive actions
are the true examples for us to look to and take
direction from. Positive, energized people live a
positive, energized life and walk a constructive path.
When you meet such a person listen to them, learn
from them, and drink in the goodness of their energy.

Today make a conscious choice, if needed, to
change the way you interact with others and
yourself. You, and only you, have the ability to
change yourself into a positive person. Allow
yourself the beauty to see what positive people
see, to feel what positive people feel, and to walk
the higher trail that is available to each and every one of us.

YOU AND YOURSELF

It is rewarding to find someone whom you like,
but it is essential to like yourself.

It is quickening to recognize someone
as a good and decent human being, but
it is indispensable to view yourself as acceptable.

It is a delight to discover people who are
worthy of respect, admiration, and love,
but it is vital to believe yourself
deserving of these things.

For you cannot live in someone else.
You cannot find yourself in someone else.
You cannot be given a life by someone
else. Of all the people you will know in a
lifetime, you are the only one you will
never leave nor lose.

To the question of your life, you are the
only answer. To the problems of your
life, you are the only solution.

BE WHO YOU ARE

Let your hopes and dreams
always guide you in the direction
that you definitely believe in.

Let the love that is within your heart
never stop being the most important
and beautiful part of your life.

Travel through time not as one alone,
but as one among the many;
reach out to those who need your
gentle spirit and caring ways.
Make your passage through time
an endless journey of love...

IF I HAD MY LIFE TO LIVE OVER by Erma Bombeck

I would have gone to bed when I was sick instead of pretending the earth would go into a holding pattern if I weren't there for the day.

I would have burned the pink candle sculpted like a rose before it melted in storage.

I would have talked less and listened more.

I would have invited friends over to dinner even if the carpet was stained, or the sofa faded.

I would have eaten the popcorn in the 'good' living room and worried much less about the dirt when someone wanted to light a fire in the fireplace.

I would have taken the time to listen to my grandfather ramble about his youth.

I would have shared more of the responsibility carried by my husband.

I would never have insisted the car windows be rolled up on a summer day because my hair had just been teased and sprayed.

I would have sat on the lawn with my children and not worried about grass stains.

I would have cried and laughed less while watching television and more while watching life.

I would never have bought anything just because it was practical, wouldn't show soil, or was guaranteed to last a lifetime.

Instead of wishing away nine months of pregnancy, I'd have cherished every moment and realized that the wonderment growing inside me was the only chance in life to assist God in a miracle.

When my kids kissed me impetuously, I would never have said, "Later. Now go get washed up for dinner." There would have been more "I love you's." More "I'm sorry's."

But mostly, given another shot at life, I would seize every minute...look at it and really see it ... live it ... and never give it back.
Stop sweating the small stuff.

Don't worry about who doesn't like you, who has more, or who's doing what.

Instead, let's cherish the relationships we have with those who do love us.

Let's think about what God HAS blessed us with. And what we are doing each day to promote ourselves mentally, physically, emotionally, as well as spiritually.
Life is too short to let it pass you by. We only have one shot at this and then it's gone.

REMEMBER

* Remember that your presence is a present to the world.
* Remember that you are a unique and unrepeatable creation.
* Remember that your life can be what you want it to be.
* Remember to take the days just one at a time.
* Remember to count your blessings, not your troubles.
* Remember that you'll make it through whatever comes along.
* Remember that most of the answers you need are within you.
* Remember those dreams waiting to be realized.
* Remember that decisions are too important to leave to chance.
* Remember to always reach for the best that is within you.
* Remember that nothing wastes more energy than worry.
* Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck.
* Remember that the longer you carry a grudge, the heavier it gets.
* Remember not to take things too seriously.
* Remember to laugh.
* Remember that a little love goes a long way.
* Remember that a lot goes forever.
* Remember that happiness is more often found in giving than getting.
* Remember that life's treasures are people, not things.
